Kaleidoscope - College Age/Adult Edition
Kaleidoscope - peer support for college age and beyond adults who experienced death, divorce, or other painful
transition in their past.
 |
Like the colored bits of glass that make up the design in a kaleidoscope, life's joyful and painful events form the picture of who we are as an adult. The past has a profound effect on shaping the person we are and the quality of our relationships with others. Loss of parents through death, divorce, abandonment, or separation can affect how we act, feel and think -- particularly about ourselves. We may bury feelings of grief with work or play, but they remain inside.
Kaleidoscope is a 12 session program for adults dealing with unresolved grief due to any type of parental loss. It is not therapy or counseling, but an opportunity and the tools to go back -- to rejourney through grief with other adults who have similar feelings, fears, and experiences. |
| Prism - Single and Stepparent Edition
The purpose of Prism is to mend the memories, heal the hurts, and once again, have the hope for a bright
future. Prism is not therapy nor a program to teach parenting skills - although working with others can at
times help us realize new skills and ideas. Instead, Prism is designed to have you take an honest look at the
person you are today and the parent you are to your children.
