Rainbows Elementary Age Edition
Implementing the Curricula The strength of our curricula has been Rainbows commitment to provide the necessary training for all those adults who care enough to reach out to grieving individuals. Our materials can be utilized by professional educators, counselors, or other community members/volunteers who have interest and experience in working with children and adults. This program is available in interdenominational religious or secular versions. While professional skills for working with groups are helpful, it should be clear from the premise above, that the qualities of being compassionate and empathetic are the essential requirements. It is also necessary to be a good listener and possess the willingness to become a significant adult to those who are hurting. A trained volunteer can become an effective facilitator using the materials that are part of the Rainbows Kit distributed to each new site. This Kit consists of many components that are directed to the participants' age level. To date Rainbows curricula are culturally developed to be used internationally and available through distribution centers in the United States, Australia, Canada, England and Ireland.

All the Rainbows materials are copyrighted and available only through authorized Registered Directors. You may find your local Registered Director by checking the listings under Find Rainbows link on the main menu. Your local Registered Director will be able to set a time with you to view the materials and discuss ways to help Rainbows become part of your school, faith community or agency.
