Children’s Grief Awareness Month

November 20, 2014

Though bereavement programs for adults are common, the goal of Rainbows is to serve children, from preschool age to young adults in college, who are experiencing a painful or stressful change in family structure. Our mission is to focus on children who have gone through the pain of the death of a parent or loved one, who have parents who are going through a divorce, or who are experiencing separation from their parent through military deployment.

We join the National Alliance for Grieving Children in using "Children's Grief Awareness Day [as] an opportunity to tell children they are not forgotten and that there is support, hope and healing to be found."

Your gift today will allow Rainbows for All Children to provide this support, hope and healing to the children who need it most.

With gratitude,

The Rainbows Team
