Rachel Kelly serves as Rainbows for All Children’s Program Coordinator. Working under the Executive Director, her responsibilities include the creation and updating of program content, evaluating the program at all levels, and researching a new training platform.
Rachel was inspired by Rainbows’ mission of providing support to grieving children, and started as a Community Engagement Intern in the summer of 2021. As a Community Engagement Intern, Rachel reached out to potential program sites and schools in the Boston area, as well as attended events in Evanston to get students involved in the program.
As a lifelong Chicagoland resident, Rachel graduated from DePaul University June 2022 with a major in Sociology and a minor in Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies. Through her time at college, she realized her desire to serve the community and enter the world of non-profits.
Outside of Rainbows, Rachel serves as the Lead Instructor at Mathnasium in Lincoln Park, where she tutors students ages 5 to 18 in math and serves as liaison to the company. Through this job, she continues her mission to support children as they progress through life. She also volunteers at PAWS Chicago, where she can be found walking and feeding puppies.
