Advocating for Rainbows Sites in Your Community

October 14, 2026
As we head into Children’s Grief Awareness Month, it may become painfully obvious that your community lacks the resources to support youth facing loss and uncertainty.
At Rainbows for All Children, we are dedicated to connecting youth ages 3–25 experiencing grief with free, peer support groups. For 43 years, our programs have supported tens of thousands of children annually around the world. Yet, too many children still go without these vital resources.
How Our Program Works
We provide evidence-based training to caring volunteer facilitators who host age-appropriate groups in their local communities. By creating a safe, confidential space, we help young people express their feelings and develop healthy coping mechanisms that last a lifetime.
Why We Need You
From our headquarters in Evanston, Illinois, our team cannot always reach the local decision-makers who can bring these free resources to light. We need ambassadors to spread the word and engage their communities. Whether you are in a major city or a small town, you can help us bridge this gap.
If you feel called to bring these life-changing groups to your community, we want to hear from you.
