Stephanie Garrity joined Rainbows in March 2017 and serves as the Executive Director of Rainbows for All Children. Working with the staff and the Board of Directors, she is committed to growing and diversifying Rainbows’ resources, while ensuring that all Rainbows supporters and facilitators remain engaged and connected with our mission of serving youth dealing with grief and loss.

Recognizing many youth function in a constant state of insecurity and trauma, Stephanie is dedicated to providing these youth with the resources necessary to share their emotions in healthy and constructive ways that allow them to not just survive, but flourish and grow, as well as help to prepare them to cope with future adversity.

Stephanie comes to Rainbows with more than 26 years of experience in non-profit leadership. Prior to Rainbows, she served as the director of stewardship and engagement at Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center (5+ years), the director of development at Willow House (3+ years), and director of institutional advancement at Regina Dominican High School (12+ years). She maintains memberships with Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, National Alliance for Children's Grief (NACG), Chicago Women in Philanthropy, Professionals in Development North, and Forefront. Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Houghton University, Houghton, NY, with minors in French and Spanish. Stephanie is a two-time presenter at the NACG's annual symposium.

A long-time resident of Highland Park, Stephanie is married with two sons. She has served in multiple volunteer and leadership roles in Lake County as well as the Highland Park and Highwood communities.
