Executive Director
Stephanie Garrity

“I joined the Rainbows team because I know anecdotally and statistically that many youth function in a state of insecurity, anxiety and trauma, and they deserve support as they navigate life's storms. I’m excited to contribute to the Rainbows legacy by continuing to build and grow our programming so some day, every youth who needs support receives it at no cost to them or their family, in their own community!”
By day (and sometimes night!), Stephanie works as the Executive Director of Rainbows for All Children where she focuses on growing and diversifying Rainbows’ resources, while ensuring that all Rainbows supporters and facilitators remain engaged and connected with our mission of serving youth dealing with grief and loss.. Her background includes nearly 30 years in nonprofit leadership, and she has previously worked at Zacharias Sexual Abuse Center, Willow House and Regina Dominican High School.
Stephanie brings passion, empathy, and strategic direction to Rainbows, and, as a child of divorced parents, is especially passionate about the Rainbows mission because she has seen what a difference it makes to youth who have access to guided peer support, and what can happen to youth who don't.
When Stephanie is not working, you can find her volunteering in her community, gardening, walking her dogs or reading.
One fun fact about Stephanie: While not an especially adventurous soul, she does enjoy parasailing and snorkeling.
